How do i remove a virus from my java and flash installation?

Dude there are many kinds of viruses.When you connect to net you have bright chances of attracting viruses.So you may need an anti-spyware or adware rather than an anti virus.I believe Dr.Spyware will work good.Try it,its best.personal experience.for anti virus K7 is good.but dont run or use both together.
 
I just scanne dmy pc for viruses and it said that i had viruses in my installation of java and flash. I downloaded these from the secure adobe website so they are genuine and not off a torrent and yet apparently theres still some sort of virus on it. I tried uninstalling and re installing but that did nothing. How can i get rid of viruses that slow down my system from programs i need?
