How do I remove a speed limiter on a 1996 Ford Taurus 3.0L...?

I know this may be funny to some but this thing pulls like a freight train up to 112MPH and quits climbing. I bet I can get 120MPH+ if it wasn't limited to 112MPH. How do I remove this sensor or is it too complicated?
emiller, good point I guess it is there for a reason. And the engine is not stock. Recently rebuilt with a port and polish giving it about 225HP.
 
You can buy a programmer to do it.

However your top speed is limited for a reason. Something isn't safe above 112. For sure your tires aren't. Your suspension might not be either. Or it could just be unstable at those speeds.
