In my english class, we read the book the Alchemist. Santiago is told that

"people are afraid to pursue their most important dreams because they feel they do not deserve them, or that the'll be unable to achieve them."

how would ONE character from either Macbeth, A Streetcar Named Desire, OR Beowulfd "subscribe or reject" this philosophy and why?
