So for whatever reason, either from my PC going into sleep mode or more likely the constant on and off of both the TV and PC causes my computer to not recognize the TV is connected to the video card when I am ready to use it. My current solution is to enable multi-core support, then turn it off again, which then refreshes the video card and see's the TV. Either this or a reboot of the computer, but frankly I hate rebooting every time I want to watch a movie. What's the point of having a computer with sleep mode if I have to reboot whenever it's time to watch TV? Is there any way to refresh the video card, sort of how you could refresh the device manager once upon a time and see new hardware without a reboot of windows?
