HOW DO I REALLY ADD MUSIC TO MY SANDISK CRUZER U3 FLASH DRIVE?

People keep saying to drag and drop, I do that and when I go to safely eject, it says "An error as occurred while attempting to eject the U3 smart drive. Please check for any open documents or programs running on the device and try again later." What do I have to do to add music to the flash drive using iTunes?
 
Make sure that the window you are dropping to (your cruzer) is closed before safely removing it, if you are not sure which window to close, just close them all.
