HOW DO I PUT A RINGTONE ON A SAMSUNG RANT?!?

i just got a samsung rant and am trying to get a ringtone on to it. i already have the ringtone and have it saved on my computer. it's in mp3 form. how do get it onto my rant? i've tried putting it in every folder on the card.
PS: i don't want any internet crap. i'm not transferring it to any sites and then sending to myself. i can't do that. sorry.
 
okay look 4 it on a ringtone website and text it 2 ur phone and.....
BAM!!!!!!! u have ur ringtone
