How do I pull people out of cars and bikes etc in GTA4 multiplayer?

I did it to my friend who was on a bike, I pushed him off of it and got on it myself. However, I don't know how I did it. Thanks if you can tell me, it would be a big help

It was a glitch, you can't remove people from vehicles in multiplayer.
