How do I promote my Image consultancy business?

I have a few clients, but I can go weeks sometimes without seeing anyone. I am going to be launching my website in a few weeks and will be running a fashion show in the next few months to try and drum up some business for xmas. I do house visits and do shape and style consults, wardrobe planning, style parties etc. How would I go about targeting people for style parties and individual clients? Any ideas and help would be great.
