I have replaced the battery and pulled up every instruction I can possibly find online.
1-open drivers door, leave open.
2-unlock and lock the door.
3-key in ignition
4-turn to on then off 3 times. Leave key in ignition.
5-open, close door 3 times.
6-ecu responds by locking, unlocking doors.
7-press any button twice on remote. ecu responds by locking, unlocking doors.
8-remove key and ecu responds final time by unlocking, locking doors.
ALL of this happens except for the ecu responding at step 7. Any other suggestions? I really don't want to drive all the way to mazda to spend $75 or whatever they charge to do the same thing...
