How do I play ps2 games on my ps3?

It just won't work! It is bugging me. Please tell me there is a way. I bought my ps3 pretty recently and I tried putting in kingdom hearts and it wouldn't play it. WTH!?
 
Sorry, but you are out of luck. the PS3, or at least most versions of the console, do not support PS2 games.

I think that this is very lame of Sony, but the fact is that they are still selling a lot of PS2 consoles (in fact, they are outselling the PS3!) Definitely a bummer for PS3 owners, and maybe a reason that the PS3 is not selling very well.
 
It depends if your ps3 has backwards compatibility. I believe the 60 GB model has it. You can check your ps3 box for the details and specifications.
