how do i play an ipod through a car stereo?

I just got a 2003 saab 93 arc sedan. the only problem is that it it only has a cd player and nothing else. I need a relatively cheep way to play my ipod through the cars stereo. I use to use the cassette adapter which worked great but with out a cassette player in the car that is sort of difficult. I do not want to use a radio transmitter because in all my experiences with them they have not done shit.
 
Buy a receiver that has an audio in.
Buy a receiver that has a cassette deck.
The cheapest way would be the FM transmitter but you don't want to do that. i have one and it works fine. you just gotta set it up right.
 
If you don't have an auxillary mode with your stereo then your only choices are an FM transmitter or replacing the head unit with one that comes with an auxillary function.
