How do i paint the rims of my bmx bike?

I got a bmx bike and i would like to paint the rims to match my frame.I want advice how i should paint it so i don't end screwing it up.But.So can i get some advice and tips on how to paint the rims of my bike?
 
tape off the spokes and spray paint it, or unlace the rim from the hub, paint it, then take it to a shop and have them put it back together (with colored spokes, if they have em).
 
well you could unlace it and paint it or you could tape the spokes off and the nipples and then spray around them

but the best idea would to not paint it at all because it will just peel off any way
