How do I open a subwoofer?

My subwoofer doesn't work. I want to open it. What is the proper way to do it?
I already have new ones. These are pretty worthless. If there isn't a proper way, I'm going to knife them open anyway.
 
Well, first you stick a toothpick in your ass and then try to twirl it with your anus muscles. That should get the job done nicely.
