How do I navigate an interracial, queer relationship?

This is about to get complicated.

I'm half-black, half-white. My girlfriend is Chinese-American, born and raised in Hawaii. She is out to her "tolerant" mother and her lesbian-hating gay brother. That's it for family. Her mother has yet to meet me.

But her mother hates me.

Not only am I the girlfriend, but I'm (oh God no!) black. I love myself and my race. No one can take that away from me. But, I'm afraid that this hatred will come between my girlfriend and me. How do I comfort her while her mom visibly shuns her in their own home, her brother takes stabs at her, and her father is oblivious?

Please, some advice.
