G'day!
I have got a toyota corolla hatchback 2008 with stock suspension. I know the handling could be better but i like how comfortable the ride is (i am not a big fan of stiff ride). However, i noticed that the back of my car is sitting higher than the front. The gap between front tyre and guard is approx 8cm while the gap between rear tyre and guard is approx 12cm. Now, i am not looking to lower my car by a great deal but i just want my car to sit level. Is there any way to achieve that? I heard people putting low springs in front and an even lower springs at the back. but is that going to lower my car too much and significantly reduce the quality of ride and damper's lifespan? How about those adjustable coilovers? Can i use those to keep the front height and bring the rear height down by 4cm or something? but is that going to cause oversteer or understeer issue? are there any other ways to make my car sits level with no or minimal compromise in ride quality? Please advise. Thanks.
