How do I make my recorded voice into a ring tone on my LG CF360?

I know how to record my voice on AT&T LG CF360 but it wouldn't let me make it to my ring tone. Is there a way?
can you do it directly from the cell phone?
cause I don't trust those after market sites.. they'll sell your cell phone number to telemarketers.
