How do i make my own decisions, even when my parents don't agree? Please Help!!?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years now. He has recently became a Marine and has asked me to marry him. I will be 22 years old in 2 months and my boyfriend is 26. I would love to marry but I'm afraid of what my parents would say. I'm currently in college and still live at home with my mother so of course they don't see me as an adult yet. Should I wait until I'm done with school because that's what my parents would want, or should I make my own decision and live my life? I know I will finish school where every I end up at. Thanks for your help!
