How do I make a nuclear bomb?

I have a lot of spare time and the money, plus its just for fun so it doesn't really matter right? Or do I need a permit or something?
They don't sell high grade plutonium.
How would I go about getting something to shoot the proton and split the atom?.

get your supplies from unitednuclear.com. don't forget shielding so you won't get cancer like that boy scout. also, read up at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_weapon_design.

I'd recommend starting out with a dirty bomb first, since it's easier and probably cheaper.
