So, I wanted to make a sims date game, a simple one.
I followed a tutorial that was helpful only to a point. I have a MacBook and Flash CS3.
I managed to make the background, character, and kind of the buttons.
I have what the buttons look like before, after, and while they're being clicked, I don't know what to do next. I'm not sure how to make it do something when its clicked, like have different text appear.
Whenever I try to do the next step--adding action to the symbol/text--it says that "current selection cannot have actions applied to it". What do I do?
I'm really frustrated at this point!
