hey there

now this is REALLY embarassing. when i was like 5 or 6, i learnt to ride a bike pretty well and i used to do it quite often.
then some years later, i moved to a busy city area and lived in an apartment. it was all crammed and the moment i stepped outside my apartment block it was the main road. it was pretty much downtown.

and to add to that, i fractured my leg when i was 13. so i never got to ride a bike for a long time.

when i turned 17, my leg was good to go and i resumed, running and jogging and playing sports and the leg was fitter than ever. and i thought i should get back to biking too. so i decided to try it when i was over at my cousin's place .( he lives in a place with loads of space)

and guess what? the 7 year gap had rid me of my balance. I no longer had my balance and can't ride a bike anymore! And i still live in the same apartment block with absolutely NO biking facilities....WHAT DO I DO? i'm going to uni next year and would love to get a motorcycle in a couple of years, but i can't even ride anymore!!

what do i do? i've got noone to help hold my bike like back when i was 5.....i really need to learn! HELP!

Are you serious? Ok, here's the possible problem you got ... Phobia! Since you've been injured before and fear could be holding you back. Overcome that fear and you're on your way.

Option? It would look silly for you if you ride a bike with trainer wheels but yes, you can!! OR ... start with a BMX bike, they're low set and you can easily put your feet down. But once you're in motion, its all instinct.

See a doctor to find out how and why you lost your balance.Or put on the shin and knee guards and give it a try.
