How do I know PHP has been installed on my PC or not?

thanks all, I have installed standalone apache and not sure if php is not installed or installed but misconfigured. I will try to look directly in my C drive folder to see if there is php folder built or look from control panel's add remove program to see if there is php installed.
have tried phpinfo() but <?... shown
