So just a day ago I was with my cousin who is easily entertained by animals and craves many since she's a single child. Which is cool she's really nice and wanted to go play with the bunnies so I went with her. My dog was at the house with us and immidiately came towards us when I was holding one of the bunnies, although I was surrounded by a little fence so my dog couldnt get in, but the bunny was, naturally, scared to death. It started struggling and flipping out, it's paws were flinging around like a maniac and eventually on of it's back legs were ripping away at my skin and one of the small nails got stuck.
In conclusion I now have 3 long wounds on my chest near the area of inbetween my breasts (I was wearing a V-neck cut me some slack). I'm not worried about covering it up or anything, it's not quite visible yet, it was bleeding quite a lot but it's not that deep. At the moment 2 of the wounds have yellowish crusts on them.
I'm not really that worried about it, because I'm pretty sure I would know if it was infected or not, it would be much more 'colorful' and I guess it would hurt much more. But even if I don't touch it it sometimes tends to hurt, and it becomes red (I realize this is a regular side effect).
The thing is, the bunnies have a large cage, it was designed to be a birdhouse. It has stinging nettles and other spiky like plants in it, the bunnies do have an indoors shelter but most of the time they're running around in the outdoors part where it's usually muddy and a bit grassy due to the recent amount of rain here. The bunnies are well groomed and the father of my cousin is a biologist so I'm pretty sure they take good care of the bunnies, but I tend to get a little paranoid from time to time. If it looked worse I would go to the doctor but I'm just interested in hearing your medical opinion.
