How do I know if my CDI is working on my 1976 Yamaha dt400? It will not start. I have two CDI units that are exactly the same part # and “look” the same. But they give different Ohms readings from each other. The shop manual that I have gives approximate resistance for two different CDI’s, neither of which are like my two. So how large of a difference between the readings from one unit to the other is acceptable as the same?
