how do i know if i have slow gastric empting

what are the main symptoms that people experince with slow empting (gastroparis)............and whats the test.........i live in New zealand and my GI specilist hasnt done a test for this but has told my GP to try domperodone or something, if i dont get better on the PPI alone (prevacid two time day)...

so do i just take the drug to see if it works?

the PPI has taken about 85% of my chronic stomach pain away, and neasea is alot better, refered pain to my shoulders and back is also a lot better, and stab like chest pains are a little better as well, i still have horribel LPR symptoms thou, my flem build up is a bit better thou and im not coughing up green flem from my throat anymore, my buring tounge and mouth is a little better, still have bad PND, feel like im being strangled, coating on tounge, little cough after food on occasions, feel like something stuck in my throat. and a little sore thraot but minor.....oh and bizarre ear fullness stuff .....wow after listing it all im surprised im still living lol..........

i constantly burp even after water, is this form slow empting, Gerd, or my deaseased gallbladder.........what causes burping.i dont burp up food that i no off!!!!

thanks for that, i do remeraber my natural therapist saying that he could not find anything wrong and that he believed that my reflux was from muscular causes............which i think is gastroparies. my natural herapist checked my acid levels and im not overproducing acid........im due to see my GP in two weeks will try the domperondone, i dont think they do the gastroparies test here in NZ, but will ask my GP, and if so go back to my spec to request it..

im with you that reflux is a symptom of something not right in the digestive process, im on the SCD diet to rule out bacteria forming gas allowing the splincer to open..........my gallbladder is also something that may be contributing.............reflux is like a puzzle!!! trying to peice the bits together is hard.........
