...errors on jailbreaking it? I think I know how to jailbreak my Ipod Touch 4th Generation, but I'm not exactly sure. I'm afraid if I get any errors such as; being stuck at the apple logo, Crashed apps, bugs, other bad errors... I think I should follow the process on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l4EGvt_9vA b/c it seems to be easy. I really don't want to jailbreak it by using redsn0w b/c it seems hard and i might risk of being stuck at a pineapple logo (A huge nightmare).
Itunes made me update my Ipod Touch 4th Generation to 4.2, but I want it updated to 4.1. I didn't put any songs or apps in my ipod touch yet, and i didn't even set up the wi-fi yet... A lot of my friends uses limera1n and their versions are 4.1. One of my friend who just jailbroke his Ipod Touch 4G 3 days ago successfully got version 4.1, but I'm not sure how he can update it to version 4.1 instead of 4.2. He just bought his Ipod Touch on X-mas day.
1.) When I update my Ipod Touch to 4.2, should I click "Check For Update" button then click on the firmware thing that I downloaded, which is version 4.1? After that, I should downgrade it to 4.1 before jailbreaking it.
2.) If I get any errors on my Ipod Touch, how would I fix this then? (Showing me videos on how to fix it would be good)
3.) Which errors would you get if the jailbreak fails on limera1n? Like for an example, crashed apps, safari crashing, stuck at the apple logo, being stuck at the command prompt, etc...
(For 10 points guaranteed for a specific explanation, and showing me the best video on how to jailbreak it with limera1n would be nice)
