...properly? Hi. I've been using xampp, but they seem to have fallen behind a bit, so I looked at wampserver and they weren't any better. I finally came to the conclusion that I should install each application seperately. I searched google to try and find a good tutorial but I couldn't find anything. Almost everything said to use wamp or xampp. Could you either tell me how to setup and configure these applications seperately, or point me to a good resource that can help me out?

Yes. That is where I have been downloading it from. At this time the latest version they have out for windows is xampp 1.7.3, which contains apache 2.2.14, mysql 5.1.41, and php 5.3.1. I would prefer it if I could install them myself so that I can keep up with the latest stable version of each application.
