how do I install a transmission in a 1995 jeep wrangler?

I have a 1995 jeep wrangler and my transmission is now shot. I could bring it in to a mechanic but I really don't want to pay all that much. so I have made the executive decision to do it my self. only problem is that I don't really know how to do it, I kind of know the basic idea but I really don't want to screw anything up.

so can anyone help me out, maybe give me some step by step directions and what transmission I should be using?

Do you have a lift or some way to get the car high enough? its pretty envolved. Is it automatic or standard?
