do you know where I can see a picture of one that is already installed or be very specific how it fits on the throttle cable and the carburetor, thanks!

I have no clue about atvs but I just had to replace my slide on my yz 125! The throttle cable comes down and there is a spring between the carb top and the slide. At the bottom of the spring there is a little screw that screws into the slide. The little screw is attached to the cable. So you just take the cap off an the spring should come out than you just put a new spring in and put it back together

Remove the side cover of the carburetor that the throttle cable goes into.
It's fairly simple to see how the end of the cable hooks
on to the activating arm.
Loosen all cable adjuster nuts.
Screw the cable into the carburetor as far as it will go.
Move the activating arm enough that you can hook the cable on to it.
Screw the cable out to get the proper free play in the cable.
"Free play" is the distance the throttle can be moved before pulling
tension on the cable.
Tighten the cable adjuster nuts.
