How Do I Install A New Radio In An 03 Mitsubishi Galant?

I installed a sony stereo in my 03 Galant, but when I turn the car off and take the keys out of the ignition all settings get reset. Speaker wires are all hooked up right, not sure what the other color wires mean on the galant and new stereo
