...self-hosted blog? Hello, I have a Wordpress blog I host on my own server. It takes about 3-4 seconds to load the blog 'homepage' and want the 'homepage' to load faster. I am wondering if I could install a simple/basic html page (with links to the 'main body' of the blog) as the homepage of the Wordpress blog. Can this be done? Can I have this html page as index.html to overide the blogs own index.php page?
