the temperature is not hot enough - the gauge is as at the maximum warmth/hotness/temperature, any suggestions would be appreciated - thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS
If it's really cold where you live you might consider doing what I did on my Toyota 4funner. I took out the floor mat and stuck it in front of the radiator. the ambient temp was below 0 F. You might be having a vent door problem too. If your engine is getting warm enough by looking at the gauge but no heat comes into the cab, it's probably a vacuum leak or a stuck vent door behind the dash.
TAPE A PIECE OF CARDBOARD ON THE FRONT OFF YOUR RADIATOR. APPROXIMATELY 1/2 THE SIZE OF THE RADIATOR. WATCH THE TEMP AND IF IT GOES UP TOO MUCH CUT PICE OFF ABOUT 1/4 AND SEE WAHAT THE TEMP GOES TO. KEEP DOING TILL YA GET THE TEMP YA WANT.
