How do I identify the plants in my garden?

I have lots of plants, bushes and shrubs in my garden, and I have forgotten what some of them are. They are looking a little bit unloved, and I want to find out what I should do - but I can't look it up because I don't know what they are!

Is there a website or anything anywhere which helps you to identify plants and shrubs? I had a look and couldn't find anything.
