how do i hook up my ps3 blutooth headset?

i just bought a ps3 blutooth for $50 and when i try to hook it up it wont find it.
i go to star scanning and i sat there for 2 hours waiting and it didnt find it

hold the on button for around 10 secs and it should start flashing

then go to settings>accesory settings

click register bluetooth device

click start scanning

it will ask u to find your headset so it will show your headset on the screen click your headset

then it will ask you for a pass key the pass key is 0000(then u have done it)

but then go to accesory settings>audio settings and turn your headset on and put the mic level up to 5

and you have paired your headet to your ps3

if it is like mine, u need to plug it into the playstation the same way u plug your controlers in to charge then seach for it..
