How do I hook up my mp3 player to my car?

I have a 2004 Honda Element LX. It has no cassette player or aux input. I want to hook my iPod up but I don't know how to go about doing so. I have researched aux systems,new stereos, FM transmitters, etc. I'm short on cash too, what should i do?
 
Listen to the radio.

Or if you get some cash, get an fm transmitter.
 
some car have a usb port some a jack port like for a head phone. first you should scroll thought your stereo menus and see if it shows a channel or setting for aux. if it does not then your probably looking at getting a different stereo set-up , but if it has a jack plug you can buy an adapter cord at most mp3 outlets
