my twin sister and i will both be going to very good universities next year, i'll be 3 hours away and she's going to a college across the country. because of my mom's very bad economic status, we have recently moved to a pretty bad neighborhood. the problem is that my mother is single and neither of us are comfortable with the idea of her living on her own and coming home late from work in this area. On top of that, my mom has never been alone in her life. we have always been really close.
how can she deal with being by herself, especially in this neighborhood? she doesnt have any friends and family nearby. i'd love to go to a school closer but my mom doesnt want us to sacrifice our opportunities to study at a great school. i feel very guilty though.
