How do I hang outdoor speakers?

I bought weatherproof speakers to hang outside. My house was prewired and I had the speaker wires pulled through the vinyl siding. The speakers will need to be hung on a wall with vinyl siding with no overhang. I have hung speakers indoors, but am concerned with pulling off the vinyl, damaging the vinyl when drilling a hole and not hitting a stud.
 
You wont need a stud but you will need a bracket, its gonna put a hole in the siding and that's the breaks but if you do the bracket you will only have to do one hole... Speakers outdoors are so awesome
