how do i hack my computer so i can download civilization 4 on it?

its my moms computer and shes forgotten what the admin password is is there a hacking code or is there a way i can figure it out without screwing up the computer in the process?
 
ophcrack is good, download, the correct version, burn it to a CD, and boot your computer from it. choose the first option and wait, it will attempt to crack your password using the magic of rainbow tables.

last ditch is to replace the password, this will however ruin any encrypted files on your system.
