I found a can of jack mackerel in my family's pantry (unexpired, yes, I did check) and I had never tried it before, so I opened it, took my time removing the bones and other unpleasantries, and then finished preparing it. After all this I washed my hands, but the smell remained. This was on Saturday, and it is now Monday night. I've tried Gojo hand cleaner, dish-washing liquid, lime juice, baking soda and vinegar, as well as plenty of normal washings. I have even tried random things like Clearasil face wash while in the shower and toothpaste. I've no idea what to do; the smell hasn't really weakened at all. PLEASE, help if you can. Thank you!
Specific items I have used that I can recall to remove the smell: lime juice (did not have lemon at hand), Gojo (c) hand cleaner, toothpaste, tomatoes, baking soda &vinegar, Clearasil, hand sanitiser, hand soap, body soap.
