how do i get the trackbar on my blackberry to work?

my blackberry was not moving down so i took off the trackbar and cleaned it, after i cleaned it the track still still didnt not work. after several times of cleaning it it still doesnt work. are there any other soltons for my trackbar on my blackberry? if so, some one please tell me them/
