I've had the same Issue with a 99 300M. It came down to turning the front wheels to easier acces the driver side front wheel, a 4 foot long 4x4 board and a 10lbs sledge hammer. Don't forget to say a little prayer that the car doesn't slip off of the jack stands. This problem normally occurs when the wheels are Aluminum and the hubs are steel, this is called a galvenetic reaction. make sure to grease between these surfaces well before reinstalling if it actually comes off. Good Luck

the tires are corroded onto the hubs and woulnt come off. ive tried hammers, prying, wd-40 and heating it. if you know any tricks to get it off please share.
