How do i get the smell of fish out of the house and off of books and clothes?

my mum roasts fish every now and then and uses it to cook with i absolutely hate it it makes me feel sick but she wont stop. everything in the house stinks of it all the cloths and all my school books can any one PLEASE help me get the smell off my things and remember i live in the uk so we don't have the same shops as in america thanks
