97 Jeep wrangler 2.5L. The serpentine belt keeps slipping off whenever I am turning a corner and giving it gas. I've replaced the belt once due to fraying when it slipped off the first time, but the new one has slipped numerous times in the past month. I've tightened the tension pulley and it still slips off. I have upgraded to 30" tires from 28", and i think that might be putting strain on the power steering pump. Any help would be appreciated.

tension pulley most likey bad or one of the pulleys not line up an d sure it could be the big tires

i would say that you have a worn/broken pulley somewhere in there. the output shaft of one of your accessories is probably broken so its at an angle and when you accelerate it moves the belt off the pulley. take the belt off and start checking all pulleys for alignment and make sure none of them have any free movement
