I been getting my hair colored with a semi permenant (semi or demi i forget...last like 8 weeks?) soft black and love the richness of the color however it ALWAYS has a red tint and especially in the sunlight my hair looks burgandy. It's not awful but thats not exactly what I'm going for. I always get my hair done at a salon and I've tried a few now and I always tell them i want to cancel out the red so ussually they mix an ash color with the black but it's just not cuttin it for me, I can still see red. What can I do at home as a quick fix that isn't damaging to your hair? Are there any shampoos or products?
I was thinking maybe buying a green rinse (4-6 shampoos) and just keep rinsing it with that every so often but I'm not sure that will show any results and they are such a mess and personally I feel like they only last 1 or 2 shampoos. I rather just solve the problem once and for all and be done with the red tint all together if possible. Let me know what you think. It prefer a hair stylist opinion but will take advice from all! thanks!
