how do i get the flash on my lg eve camera to work?

i recenty got my lg eve, at first before i played around with teh settings the flash worked well. now the plash doesnt go off. ive tried reseting the camera but that didnt do anything. (also at first when i would take pics using the camera key on the side the box would be green, now its red)
