Well, I work at my local college in the uk in the exams dept. We have a specialist tutor who assess students for dyslexia and dyscalcula and then we receive the reports so that they can have any additional requirements for their exams ie extra time, someone to read for them etc. I would say go to your local college and maybe enrol on a part-time free maths course there will be a question about any difficulties you have on the enrolment form. Then explain the problem to the course tutor and she will refer you to the specialist tutor for assessment. (all colleges have someone who carries out these assessments). Otherwise you can go online and search for specialist assessors but they do cost a fortune, so I would definately ask at your local college (ps I am in the UK).
