How do i get sims 2 to work on my laptop using a flash drive?

I love to play sims 2 but it won't fit into my computer.I heard you can fit all of the sim 2 games and the stuff packs onto flash drives.How do I get the sims 2 games to fit onto my laptop without getting a new computer?
