how do I get ringtones on my phones memory card?

ok I have a samsung rogue on the verizon network. I just got a 4gig sd micro card for the phone. I put my pictures on it and they show up. What I would like to do is download ringtones from my computer to the card and use them on the phone. how do I do this? Im not sure if theres some kind of software for the phone or what. Im new to all this kinda. any help would be greatly appreciated
