How do i get rid of the ants in my garden?

I have little orangish looking ants in my garden and can't kill or get rid of them.They have small little mounds of dirt about the size of a fifty cent piece and a lot of them.I'm looking for ways to get them out can anyone give me some advice. Thank you

Boiled water from a kettle normally does the trick. Just pour it over the nest.
