How Do I Get My Xbox Fixed And How Much? (No Warranty/Pre-opened)?

My Xbox just started flashing the three red lights and what not

for sure this means hardware failure

there is no warranty as i bought it off some guy brand new [no questions asked] and i also had it opened in a repair shop when the laser reader went back...so

no warranty/tampered with
can i still get it fixed?
