How do I get my saint bernard to eat?

I would take him to the vet if this lasted more than a couple of days and see whats up with the dog or if your too busy you could do some research on the subject.

I just got a saint bernard from the shelter two days ago. I've been having trouble getting her to eat anything meant for dogs. They gave me some of the same dog food they were feeding her to start her off but she won't touch it. I've even tried giving her canned dog food. However, when anyone in my household eats she's there begging without a second thought. We do not allow her to have table scraps. How do I get her to seem interested in dog food?

Well, a helpful solution.. talk to her local vet and see what's wrong
with her. The same thing happened to my cat.. his teeth were starting to get rotten.. so we took him to the groomer's and cleaned his teeth. If that doesn't work, try putting bits of cheese, or bread in her food. But, if you've been changing her food, that will make her confused. Stick to one food for now, so she can get used to it. I hope she feels better soon!

try puting something on the food that mite smell good
like a egg, or some cheese or a little meat......after a little bit you can stop & she just eat the dog food.

that seem that work with my dog when i change her food

One of the first things you can do if your dog has suddenly stopped eating is check his food. Have you changed his food lately? Switching back and forth to a new food might trigger your dog not to eat, so you can go and get the food he is familiar with and give that a try. Always have plenty of water out for your dog. Also check your food for any ants or other bugs that may be inhabiting your dog's food. That could be a real turn off for a dog. Just keep your food tightly closed or in a sealed container and those pesky insects will not be able to get into the food.
